What are the Treatments?
The best option to use to treat ADHD is using therapy. Therapists usually use a treatment called Behavioral Modification. The goal of Behavioral Modification is to teach the patients self monitoring, self evaluation, and self reinforcement by having them deal with strategic and verbal problems. Stimulants called Strattera can also be used as temporary medicine . The stimulants have been tested and improve the attention span, self control, and behavior of them. They last at maximum for three weeks. The downside of using these pills are the side effects such as stomachaches, headaches, insomnia, and weight loss.
